Our success has not come easily. As a team we have worked hard across all business activities to ensure that we excel in every department. Most importantly, we have always tried to put our customers first, as we recognise that their business needs are the life blood of our business and our future prospects.
Within our sectors, I am very proud to say that Madison has established a market leading reputation for innovation in products, retail support initiatives, operations and for always creating added value for our customers.
Madison now proudly distribute many of the world’s leading brands in cycle, MX and freesports, a truly awesome list and success certainly breeds success as more and more brands now approach us to represent them in the UK. Madison works hard to ensure every brand is optimised and well looked after within the business, thanks to the sizeable investment in the brand management team.
Madison has embraced the advances in technology to develop the business and has never shied away from making the significant investments in technology and infrastructure necessary to maintain our market leading position. Investments such as our award winning B2B supply chain e-commerce facility which is used daily by the majority of our customers and currently transacts 70% of our trade business.
Madison introduced a custom programmed warehouse management system in 2005 and it has served to simplify, speed up and improve the accuracy of our stock management and create an environment for a consistent despatch performance throughout the year. We have a schedule for further investments in technology over the next twenty-four months which will raise the bar and set even higher standards of customer service, support and satisfaction.
Not content with our achievements to date, Madison’s young, motivated and ambitious managment team crave for more. We will not rest until we have maximised the market potential for all of our suppliers and brands. This will be achieved through the identification and exploitation of all strategic opportunities that come from being a market leading specialist distributor of cycle, motocross and freesports products.
In 2007 we celebrated the 30th anniversary of Madison and I am incredibly proud to be leading the company at this truly exciting time. The Madison management team has a clear vision and strategy for the future, and it reminds me of my early days at Madison some twenty years ago when we all felt anything was possible if we put our minds to it.
